ebSemantics - the internet revolution "Focus Web 3.0"

Markus Linder, co-founder and CEO of Smart Information Systems, was invited to speak at the „Web 3.0 Conference“ from 16. – 17.10.2008 in Santa Clara (California). He presented the initiative ebSemantics to an expert panel, including among others Neel Sundaresan, Senior Director and Head of the Research Labs of the Online-auction protal eBay. What was of most interest, was the expansion to the ebSemantics activities to the "Firmen A-Z" of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce. The Conference presented a good opportunity to plan cooperations concerning Semantic-Web-based E-Commerce.

Markus Linder also participated in a panel discussion at the APA-E-Business-Community in the House of Music on 21.11.2008. He talked about the Web 3.0, the internet of the next generation, and its effects on the tourism industry in Austria.  He will also inform participants of this year's Autumn dialogue in the Hotel Royer in Schladming on 24.10.2008 about the chances of the Web 3.0, the Semantic Web, for the Austrian tourism industry.
