Semantic Web: Yahoo adapts GoodRelations-ontology

The American search engine supplier Yahoo Inc. now supports semantic product and service data in its "SearchMonkey"-technology. The data description is based on the GoodRelations-Ontology, which has been developed in the research project myOntology by Univ. Prof. Martin Hepp in cooperation with Smart Information Systems.

Univ. Prof. Hepp has recently published a 15-minute webcast about the GoodRelations initiative and Semantic-Web-based E-Commerce, which was directed at e-commerce suppliers and manufacturers. "The webcast not only facilitates the understanding of the GoodRelations initiative and Semantic-Web-based E-Commerce, but also offers a good reference for everyone interested in establishing themselves in this area." says Univ. Prof. Martin Hepp.To see the webcast, please click here.

Suppliers of products and services who describe their product data in a GoodRelations corresponding way, gain profit from it in the Yahoo Search. You can learn how to use this unique tool for your company here.
